Join us... JOIN US....

I saw this delivery truck a couple weeks ago.  Something about it caught my attention.  Please click the picture to enbiggen.

"OPEN your soul..."  That is a terrifying concept for a job.  Most days I'm barely able to give my full attention to my job; there is no way it's getting anywhere near my "soul".

Note:  The "Stop Human Trafficking" sticker seems to be a bit incongruitous to the rest of the vibe.

Meat. It's What's For Meal.

I found this product for sale while on vacation in Utila.  Click to pic to enbiggen.

This is just normal meat.  Absolutely normal.  Nothing about it is unusual and we do not appreciate implications to the contrary.  It's just your regular, standard meat.  Please stop asking questions.

Half & Half For All Four Seasons

MenagerieManager sent me this pic.  Click to enbiggen.

She told me this was purchased in late June.  Note that the expiration date is not until May of next year.  While that is a testament to modern food preservation techniques, I'm not I'm comfortable with dairy products that will stay fresh longer than the gestation time of a human baby.

The microbrewery AB InBev

I saw this scene at the grocery store the other day.  Click the picture to enbiggen.

Not only is Natural Light, Milwaukie's Best and Stag in the "microbrew" section, Miller Lite and Genuine Draft are considered "craft".  In fact, every beer in this entire cooler is made by one of the top three breweries in the world (by volume).  I guess us Midwesterners just don't know our beers.

Vehicle Optional

Life.  Death.  Stuff.

Anyway, I'm going to try to get back on the posting wagon because, boy howdy, do I have some pictures to share.

For example, this marquee board for a local auto shop.  Click the picture to enbiggen.

Walk in oil changes.  Walk in.  I get that they are trying to say that appointments are not necessary but that's not the wording I would have used for a business that works on machines designed to preclude walking.
