I had a chicken sandwich for lunch at a local hot wing place the other day.  Please click the picture to enbiggen and see if you can figure out why this is here.

Did you see the $0.50 charge for "NO CHEESE"?  I was asked if I wanted cheese on my sandwich and I said no.  I do not know why I was charged for that.  Perhaps the sandwich is born with cheese on it and it is a delicate procedure to remove it, costing an extra 50 cents.

That's Just Nuts

We got lunch at a major fast-food chain (not that one) the other day and while we were waiting, I noticed the stickers on the window.  Please click the picture to enbiggen.

Do you see anything odd?  Let's zoom in a bit on the left.

"Peanuts and other nuts..."  Other nuts.  Like acorns. Is that the only image they could use for "other nuts"?  Perhaps they actually do use acorns so that would need to be disclosed.  I think the next time I'm there I'll ask for acorns in my concrete and see what they say.

I was assembling a deck box and appreciating how well the manufacturer labeled the parts. I then noticed that the bag holding the hinges had conveniently been labeled ‘bag’.  I thought I might open it and find a bag inside the ‘bag’ but no, the ‘bag’ containing the hinges was identified for my ease of assembly.
